Key activities included thorough cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, and surrounding areas, as well as proper waste disposal and inspection of sanitation facilities.![]()

The Nigeria Coordinator of Fistula Foundation USA, Mr. Clement Enenmoh, paid a due diligence visit to NOFIC Bauchi to assess opportunities for partnership and collaboration in strengthening fistula care services.![]()

He was received by members of the Top Management Committee (TMC) on behalf of the Medical Director, Dr. Halima Mukaddas, who was unavoidably absent. The reception team was led by the Director of Clinical Services and Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Dr. Aboki Ali Dunah, alongside the Director of Administration, Alh. NOFIC Bauchi Records Seamless Leadership Transition in Finance and Audit Directorate![]()

Following the directive of the Medical Director, Dr. Halima Mukaddas, two key appointments were made, and a smooth handing and taking-over ceremony was successfully conducted at NOFIC Bauchi on Tuesday, 24th March 2026, in the presence of members of the Top Management Committee (TMC).![]()

The event marked a significant transition within the Finance and Audit Directorate. The outgoing Director of Finance and Accounts, Abubakar Lamido Alkali, recently elevated to the rank of Permanent Secretary in the Bauchi State Government formally handed over the affairs of the department to Suleiman Umar Loyi, the former Head of Internal Audit, who has now assumed office as the new Director of Finance and Accounts.![]()
In a related development, the Deputy Director of Finance and Accounts, Mal. Sunusi Ahmad, has been appointed as the new Head of Internal Audit.![]()

The ceremony was attended by key management staff, including the Director of Clinical Services and Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Dr. Aboki Ali Dunah; the Director of Administration, Alhaji Aminu Nakaka Jibrin; the Special Adviser on Governance to the Medical Director, Mallam Dahiru Adamu Bello; the Head of Human Resources, Umar Alhaji Gambaki; the Head of Public Relations, Idris Musa Musa; as well as staff of the Finance and Audit Departments, among others.![]()

Goodwill messages were delivered by both staff and management, who commended the outgoing Director for his dedication and impactful service, while also congratulating the newly appointed officers. Prayers were offered for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, and success in their new responsibilities.![]()

NOFIC BAUCHI RECEIVES 100 CARTONS OF MEDICAL BOOKS FROM SIR EMEKA OFFOR FOUNDATION![]()

The National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Ningi (NOFIC), Bauchi State, has received a generous donation of 100 cartons of medical books from the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation to support learning, research, and professional development within the Centre.![]()

The books were officially received on Tuesday, 10th March 2026, by the Medical Director, Dr. Halima Mukaddas, who directed that a comprehensive inventory be conducted before the materials are transferred to the Medical Library.![]()

Following the directive, the Director of Administration, Alhaji Aminu Nakaka Jibrin, in collaboration with the Head of Stores, Sulayman Umar Abdull, the Head of Information and Public Relations, Idris Musa Musa, and the Head of Medical Library, Amarachi Ndubisi, carried out a detailed inventory of the donated books.![]()

Upon completion of the inventory process, the Director of Administration, on Monday, 16th March 2026, formally handed over the books to the Medical Library for proper custody and utilization.![]()

Speaking during the handover, Alhaji Aminu Nakaka Jibrin stated that the donation would significantly enhance the Centre’s medical library resources and serve as valuable reference materials for staff, students, and other users of the Centre’s facilities.![]()

He further expressed appreciation to the Sir Emeka Offor Foundation and the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, for finding the Centre worthy of benefiting from the generous donation.![]()
He also advised the Head of the Medical Library to ensure proper care, management, and effective utilization of the books and other library resources for the benefit of the Centre.![]()
